Whether you’re ordering from the United States or an international destination, we provide consistent shipping support with no distinction between domestic and international delivery timelines (except for potential customs-related delays for international orders, as outlined in Section 4).

2. Order Processing & Shipping Timelines

We strive to get your orders to you as quickly as possible, with clear timelines for processing and delivery:
  • Order Processing: After your order is confirmed (via Order Confirmation email), we process it within 1–3 business days. Processing includes verifying product availability, confirming payment, and preparing items for shipment.
  • Delivery Timeframe: Once your order ships, delivery takes 6–12 business days. This timeline applies to all destinations, regardless of location. Please note that delivery times are estimates and may be affected by external factors (e.g., carrier delays, holidays, customs processing).
  • Shipping Notification: When your order ships, we’ll send a shipping confirmation email to the address linked to your order. This email includes a tracking number and a link to the carrier’s website, allowing you to monitor your package’s real-time delivery status.

3. Shipping Costs & Free Shipping Benefit

  • Free Shipping for All Orders: Allbirds offers complimentary shipping on every order—no minimum purchase requirement, no hidden fees. You won’t be charged any shipping costs at checkout, regardless of your order value or delivery destination.
  • No Additional Charges: We do not collect extra fees for international shipping (e.g., import duties, taxes) at checkout. For international orders, these charges may be assessed by your local customs authority, and you will be responsible for paying them upon delivery (see Section 4 for details).

4. International Shipping Notes

For international orders, please be aware of the following to ensure a smooth delivery experience:
  • Customs Processing: International packages may be subject to inspection by local customs authorities, which can extend delivery time beyond the 6–12 business day estimate. Allbirds is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.
  • Import Duties & Taxes: Depending on your country’s regulations, you may be required to pay import duties, taxes, or other fees when your package arrives. These charges are determined by your local customs office and are not included in your order total (as they vary by location and order value). You will receive notification of these fees from the carrier or customs office, and payment will be required to receive your package.
  • Customs Documentation: We provide all necessary customs documentation (e.g., commercial invoice) with international orders to facilitate smooth processing. If you need additional documentation for your order, contact our customer service team at service@alllbirdes.com before shipping.

5. Shipping Address Requirements

To avoid delivery delays or issues, please ensure your shipping address meets the following requirements:
  • Accuracy: Provide a complete and accurate shipping address, including street name, house/apartment number, city, postal code, and country. Missing or incorrect information (e.g., incomplete street address, wrong postal code) may cause delivery delays or package returns.
  • Address Updates: If you need to change your shipping address after placing an order, contact our customer service team at service@alllbirdes.com immediately. We can only update addresses if your order has not yet shipped (i.e., within the 1–3 business day processing window). Once shipping is initiated, we cannot modify the address.
  • PO Boxes & Military Addresses: We ship to most PO boxes and military addresses (e.g., APO/FPO addresses), but delivery times may be slightly extended for these locations. If you’re shipping to a PO box or military address, ensure the address is formatted correctly per your local postal service guidelines.

6. Missing or Lost Packages

If you believe your package is missing or lost, follow these steps:
  1. Check Tracking First: Use the tracking number in your shipping confirmation email to check the latest delivery status. Carriers may mark packages as “delivered” a day or two before actual delivery, or leave packages with a neighbor or at a secure location (e.g., building lobby).
